Millennium Lectures Events Review – University of Reading

``Four knights, two Lords and a Princess - they have filled the Palmer Theatre and perfectly fulfilled one key responsibility of the University, to challenge assumptions and to open minds. The series of Millennium Lectures has by common consent been outstanding".
These words, spoken by Professor Roger Willams, Vice Chancellor (pictured left with the Chancellor, Lord Carrington) summed up the success of the Lecture Series given by the University's Honorary Graduates as part of the University of Reading's festivities for the new Millennium.
