Smarter Homes for Older People – University of Reading

Research teams at King's College London and Reading University have joined forces in a major step towards understanding the personal, social and technological issues encountered in incorporating technology of all kinds into older people's homes. The research addresses the needs of the substantial numbers of older people living in older housing and embraces the full range of technology from stair rails and showers to alarms and entry phones and the latest in sensor and Smart Home technology.
