Largest Reunion of Alumni look to a Grand Night Out – University of Reading
10 June 2003The largest reunion of Reading graduates ever will be taking place this July. The University of Reading's acclaimed new nightclub venue '3sixty' is opening its doors to all leavers from 1998 to 2002, who have been invited to return for a nostalgic evening's partying and to see the results of the £2.5million refurbishment. Runner-up in the 2002 British Entertainment Disco Awards (BEDA), 3sixty has provided a highly successful evening venue for students throughout the past year and is again in strong contention for this year's BEDA. Already over 700 alumni have booked in. 'The opening of 3sixty and its success throughout the past year has provided the opportunity to run an event for recent graduates, a group which because of its size we have been unable to do anything for before now' said Marion Armson, the University's Alumni Officer. 'RUSU's experience in providing a great evening's entertainment will mean that this should be an evening to remember. Alumni will have a chance to catch up with each other and also see the changes to the hall, which is proving a huge attraction'. The event is on Saturday 12 July at 8 pm. Any local graduates who have not already been contacted are invited to ring the University on 0118 378 8006 for details and tickets.
