Currently funding of £2.5m has been allocated over three years. As Programme Director, he will lead the AHRB’s effort to encourage, support and enhance the use of ICT across a wide range of arts and humanities research. He is already working with AHRB officers to investigate the scope and nature of ICT applications in recent AHRB funded research. This work will inform a detailed programme specification. Once this has been finalised, his role will be to work with AHRB staff on a call for applications and then to lead on the assessment, monitoring and dissemination of the projects proposed. He will also help to develop the AHRB’s ICT strategy and collate information about ICT needs and priorities across the AHRB subject domain.
