STEPS towards Diversity – University of Reading

14 October 2003

The University is introducing a programme to raise awareness of diversity issues within the organisation. STEPS Drama Learning Development uses two or three actors to enact a series of short scenarios concerning issues such as racial or gender discrimination. The audience is given the opportunity to direct the actors to try and resolve the situations. The University is strongly urging all staff to attend this engaging and entertaining approach to discussing diversity issues. Staff with management or supervisory responsibilities are required to attend. (NB. Participants will not have to do role play themselves)! Please contact CSTD on CSTD@reading.ac.uk for further information and your ticket. Performances are scheduled for Wednesdays: 5 November, 26 November, 3 December, 28 January, 11 February, 3 March. All dates have performances at: 10.00-11.00; 11.30-12.30; 14.00-15.00; 15.30-16.30.
