King Sturge awards sponsorships to Business School students – University of Reading
04 February 2004International property consultancy company, King Sturge, has presented awards to the winners of an Investment Presentation Project on the MSc Real Estate course at The University of Reading Business School. The University runs a suite of one-year postgraduate Real Estate programmes for graduates wishing to enter the surveying profession. King Sturge has regularly recruited from the course; due to the quality of course and calibre of the candidates that it attracts into the property profession. This is the fifth year of sponsorship by King Sturge. Prizes were awarded by Mark Perowne, Joint Managing Partner at King Sturge, to the top three students for their investment projects on the theme of "price and worth". The first prize of £1,000 was won by Nick Marks, followed by the second prize of £500 to Nicola Willis, and the third prize of £250 to Simon Green. Nick French, Course Director, said: "We very much welcome the continued support of King Sturge in providing financial support to students on the MSc Real Estate course. The King Sturge award is a tangible recognition of the work that we do at the University in providing the profession with students equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to work in the property world."
