Use antibiotics, experts advise
27 October 2004Veterinary experts in Uganda are encouraging farmers to use antibiotics as a first-line treatment against the contagious bovine pleuropneumonia disease. This comes after a new study by the National Agricultural Research Organisation (NARO) and the University of Reading finds that the use of antibiotics reduces the intensity of the disease.
