Henry Kelly Show, BBC Radio Berkshire

05 December 2006

Dr James Anderson described how the ancient Egyptians started working with fractions 3,000 years ago and how he has brought the search for all fractions of integers to an end by showing how fractions over zero can be obtained by dividing by zero. This ends the 3,000 year search and has practical consequences for today's computers. All existing computers give some kind of error when dividing by zero. This puts everyone at risk - a risk that no one need take now that he has shown how to divide by zero.
