Standpipes threat as consumers fail to turn off the taps

A succession of two dry winters in a row in the South East means the groundwater is very low, according to Dr David Stephenson (Meteorology). Dr Stephenson is also quoted in the Guardian, the Daily Mail, the Press Association, and on Sky News and Reading 2-TenFM.
