Small firms gain the right to look before they lease

Article in the business section which discusses the commercial lease code aimed to ensure business tenants are not ripped off by landlords. Cites a Government-commissioned report by Professor Neil Crosby, which monitored the impact of the industry's previous efforts to protect business tenants. It showed that in 2000, only 14 per cent of tenants surveyed were aware of the Code's existence.
