Ancient church to be revamped
06 August 2007Work has begun on turning an ancient historic building into a modern place of worship. The University of Reading is overseeing this project, the renovation of St Mary the Virgin Church in Silchester, to ensure that anything with potential archaeological value is safely retrieved.
