Urging mobile users to be aware of data disclosure

Dr Mark Gasson, of the University's School of Systems Engineering, will be appearing on BBC Breakfast on Saturday 16 May to discuss his research on safeguarding digital identities and privacy when using mobile technologies (FIDIS project). "We want mobile users to be aware of the wealth of information they can potentially give away just by agreeing to disclose their location,' says Gasson.
