A slam dunk for Uni basketball side
12 May 2009The University of Reading Basketball Team emulated the magnificent achievement of the Reading Rockets, by going through the 2008/2009 season without defeat. Basketball is fast becoming one of the University's elite sports. Last year, the SportsPark was successful in its application to be featured in the London 2012 Pre-Games Training Camp Guide. It will recommend Reading as a first-class training and preparation facility for athletes competing in Basketball and Fencing.
