Dr Bhismadev Chakrabarti appears on Radio 4's Material World to talk about his research into why we stare at happy faces

Dr Bhismadev Chakrabarti from The School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences discusses his new study which found how long we look at happy faces is influenced by our DNA. This is the first study of its type and could have profound implications for our understanding of the drive to socialize, and in turn, the atypical use of gaze in autism.
