Professor Richard Bennett interviewed on animal welfare for ITV Tonight

Professor Richard Bennett, professor of agricultural economics in the School of Agriculture, Policy and Development at the University of Reading, was interviewed for the ITV programme 'Tonight: The Real Cost of Cheap Food', which first aired at 8pm on Friday 24 August 2012.

Professor Bennett gave his perspective on modern intensive farming practices, highlighting how farming methods need to be coupled with with sound agricultural management to ensure high standards of animal welfare.
