Professor Gavin Brooks, Chair of the Steering Group for the Conference, said: “I am delighted that the University is hosting this event which attracts 7,500 prospective students from secondary schools across the region and includes exhibits from 120 Higher Education institutions and professional organisations.
“Visitors will be able to benefit from a wide range of subject specific talks, many of which are delivered by colleagues from the University, as well as talks on student finance and the UCAS application process.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase our campus and to encourage young people to aspire to moving on to Higher Education.
