Reading professor comments on European anti-austerity protests in Financial Times

Reading's Professor Christopher Duggan, an expert in modern Italian history, commented in the media on the anti-austerity protests in Italy on 14 November.

His comments appeared in the Financial Times (subscribers only), the Washington Post, and the Daily Telegraph.

Professor Duggan is director of the University of Reading's Centre for Modern Italian History and head of the School of Literature and Languages.
