Severe flooding 'could become commonplace' by end of this century.
University of Reading climate experts comment on the recent flooding in the UK

Professor Nigel Arnell, Director of the University's Walker Institute for Climate System Research, says that 'the wet winters we currently see over Northern Europe just once every 20 years, could happen almost every other year by the end of the century'.
