Dr Tiffany Taylor talks about her children's book that explains evolution on BBC Radio Berkshire

Release Date 20 February 2013

Dr Tiffany Taylor spends her days in a laboratory trying to find ways to fight the deadly disease and has dedicated her spare time to introducing primary school children to the world of evolution.

Dr Taylor has created the Rinkidinks characters in her book "Little Changes" to explain to under-11s how evolution has moulded humans, animals and the world of plants.

She scooped a 2,000 Euro investment from the European Society of Evolutionary Biology to bring her literary idea to fruition.

Evolution is set to become a larger part of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 pupils at primary school from September and Dr Taylor's work could become a main resource text.

She appeared on BBC Radio Berkshire to talk about the books and her work.
