Rise in tuition fees causes shift towards free fieldwork at UK universities - Guardian and THE

Release Date 03 January 2013

Times Higher Education (THE) reports on research by University of Reading academics into the costs of fieldwork for science undergraduates.

The survey of fieldwork co-ordinators suggests that the introduction of £9,000 a year fees for UK/EU students has led to fieldwork costs being lowered or made inclusive to tuition fees. Read our press release here >>>

The story in THE magazine follows an online THE article and an article in the Guardian Higher Education Network last month.
