Papal history expert Dr Rebecca Rist provides context for historic resignation of Benedict XVI and election of Pope Francis I

Dr Rebecca Rist, a medieval historian and expert on the history of the papacy from Reading's Department of History, provided commentary on the significance of the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI and the selection of his successor, Francis I.
