Sky News - will a soft drink tax solve obesity problem?

Release Date 01 November 2013

Research by Professor Richard Tiffin, Director of the University of Reading's Centre for Food Security, on the effects of a 20% soft drinks tax shows it could cut the number of obese people by 180,000 - although opinions differ on whether it should be implemented.

The research was covered by Sky News, BBC News, Associated Press (used by ABC News (US) and around the world), Times, Guardian, Daily Mail, Telegraph, BBC Radio Berkshire, and others.
