Severe turbulence on the rise, and a women in business prize: Reading in the News - 6th April

150% increase in turbulence due to climate change: New research by Dr Paul Williams (Met) about the impact of climate change on flight turbulence is covered in a range of titles including Washington Post, Daily Mail, Telegraph, CNBC, IB Times, Eurekalert and Forbes. Read our news story here.

Women in Business competition: The Financial Times and Henley Business School have partnered for the fifth annual ‘Women in Business’ competition. The award comes with a prize of a fully funded place on HBS’ part-time Executive or Flexible Executive programme, and has been advertised in the print edition of the paper.

Health & Life Sciences building: Further reporting that Reading and Wokingham Borough Council have given planning permission for the proposed UoR Health & Life Sciences building, by ITV Meridian.
