Physician Associates: BBC South Today and BBC Berkshire (1 hr 8 mins in) have covered the first graduates from the Physician Associate programme. Samantha Bautista who graduated last Thursday and now works at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, and Dr Simone Magee, course leader for the Physician Associate programme, were interviewed by BBC South, and Dr Magee also spoke to BBC Berkshire. Huntingdon’s treatment: Dr Patrick Lewis (Pharmacy) has written a piece for The Conversation following the discovery of a new way to treat Huntingdon’s Disease. The treatment, Dr Lewis writes, could show promise for other neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinsons’s.
