University Challenge appearance: The University of Reading’s team of alumni were beaten by the University of Oxford’s Keble College in the final of the Christmas series on BBC Two on Friday evening. The 240-0 score makes headlines in the Daily Mail, Oxford Mail, College and University and Express Digest in the US. Three members of the team were interviewed on BBC Radio 5 Live (approx 1 hr 42 mins), while LBC News and Talk Radio mentioned the story over the weekend.
