28 March 2018
The University of Reading campus has been ranked in the top 25 universities in the country for student experience, according to a survey of undergraduates.
The results of the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey 2018 placed Reading as joint 24th, out of 116 UK institutions.
Reading was rated 4th highest (joint) in the UK for ‘Good environment on campus' and was in the top ten (10th) for ‘Good security'.
The results reflect the University's continuing commitment to invest in its award-winning green spaces and welcoming, safe campus atmosphere.
In addition, Reading was joint 11th for both its students' union and accommodation offering.
Vice-Chancellor of the University of Reading, Sir David Bell, said: "Once again, our students have placed the University of Reading amongst the best performing institutions around the country for overall student satisfaction.
"Our Whiteknights, London Road and Greenlands campuses continue to be highly rated, providing students with beautiful surroundings to study and live in.
"League tables are only one measure of satisfaction and, of course, positions fluctuate year-to-year. However, it is always good to see students being so positive about their University."
