40 hour week: An article in the Telegraph looking at what happens to our bodies when we work a 40 hour week mentions a report by Henley Business School on a four day week. Forbes also covers the report in an article on flexible working.

Food funding: BEIS and UKRI have announced new funding for science research including a Doctoral Training Partnership in Food Biosciences led by the University of Reading. The new DTP will fund new PhD positions looking beyond the ‘farm to fork’ model to understand how to create sustainable, healthy food. Read our news story here.

Organic emissions: Further coverage of new research on the potential impact of UK farming going entirely organic without any change in dietary patterns, published in Metro where co-author Philip Jones (Agriculture) is quoted, and in The Times, Independent, France 24 and New Scientist.
