University Council election

Thank you to all who voted in our recent University Council Election.

We are delighted to announce that James Magee has been elected to join the University Council, following the recent election.

James's membership to the Council will begin on 1 January 2020 and will run until 31 December 2022.  He will be representing professional services colleagues in Grades 1-9.

Many of you will already be familiar with James - he is currently Associate Director of Technical Services, and is an active member of the Staff Forum.

In the elections held this month, James received 37% of the votes cast.

We would also like to thank the four candidates who stood alongside James in the election: Darren Browne, Stephanie May, Charlotte O'Leary and Sally Pellow. All candidates put much time and effort into the election, and we are very grateful for their hard work.
