New Agriculture lab: work begins early January

A new lab will be constructed inside the Agriculture building in January 2020.
The work will commence from 6 January 2020, with building work set to take place on the Upper Second Floor. Rooms 2U02, 2U03, 2U29, 2U32 and 2U36 will be where the building new labs are built.
Preparation for the work has started this week (16 December), but the main work will not start properly until 6 January.
Noise disruption is likely to be at its peak from 6 January 2020 and during the first six weeks following on from this. Our contractors will do their upmost to keep disruption to a minimum, but the nature of the works mean that noise is unavoidable. The working hours of the contractors will most likely be between 07:30 and 15:30.
Following the initial six weeks, the subsequent noise will be somewhat spasmodic and disruption should lessen. We anticipate the work to be complete in late May 2020.
