Get Heard: campus communities

Thursday, 19 December 2019

Get Heard events

As you know, our University is spread across three UK campuses - Whiteknights, London Road and Greenlands. How often do you interact with colleagues at different campus sites? Do you have ideas on how we could improve cross-campus contact?

The Staff Forum will be exploring the theme of campus communities and inclusion at the next Get Heard session this afternoon - please join us at 12:00 in G07, Building L22 at our London Road campus.

The session will run until 13:00 and lunch will be provided.

We would be grateful if you could register in advance, especially if you need to state any dietary requirements - click here to register (University log-in required).

We look forward to seeing - and hearing - you there.

Get Heard

Get Heard sessions are designed to instigate discussion and debate on various topics relating to our everyday working lives. They are organised by the Staff Forum, our body of representatives for professional services within the University.

You can find details of future sessions over at the Get Heard page.

Last month's discussion focused on communication across the University. We had a good turnout, and many ideas will be put forward to senior management in February. A special thank you goes to Santosh Sinha, Staff Engagement and Communications Manager, who provided valuable insight into the University's key communication channels and plans for future improvement.

To find out more about the Staff Forum, or to suggest a topic for a future Get Heard session, visit the Staff Forum website.
