Launch of University Teaching and Learning Enhancement Projects Mini Award Scheme
Tuesday, 05 February 2019
The Mini Projects scheme is open to all staff who are involved in teaching and/or supporting teaching and learning. It offers 'start-up' funding of between £500 and £2,500 to encourage and enable staff to experiment and/or develop practice, based on the belief that small projects can be significant catalysts for enhancement and improvement.
Mini projects can address any aspect of teaching and learning or support for teaching and learning. This can be done either through direct contact with students by, for example, developing an aspect of your teaching practice, or through indirect interaction, which could involve developing new ways of working that support student learning or improve the efficiency and effectiveness of existing ways of working.
The criteria have been revised for 2019 to place more emphasis on the impact and sustainability of projects, and on evaluation and dissemination of outcomes.
Please visit the scheme page to view the criteria and guidance for applications, and to complete the online application form. The deadline for applications is midday on Monday 18 March 2019. Unfortunately, late submissions will not be accepted.
