Monday, 25 February 2019

A national University and College Union (UCU) ballot of members closed on Friday 22 February, with the outcome that the ballot did not meet the required threshold for industrial action. This means that there is no planned strike action this term.

Earlier this year the University and College Union (UCU) announced its intention to ballot members in response to a dispute relating to the 2018/19 National Pay Bargaining process. This is separate to the discussions that led to the pension dispute in the last academic year.

If there are any further relevant developments we will keep you updated.
