University Research Fellowships launched

The University is pleased to announce the launch of the University Research Fellowships for the 2019/20 academic year. These will replace the 2020 Fellowships and will provide £10,000 to successful applicants to cover teaching replacement costs and research expenses. Fellowships will be for the duration of one year, and are intended to support research in the arts, humanities, and social sciences across the five research themes.
Applications will be assessed in terms of originality, rigour and significance of the proposed fellowship project, with the aim to support research outputs that show ambition and constitute a step change in the work of the applicant. Applications will be assessed against these criteria, as well as against the strength of the proposed plan to deliver the fellowship projects.
