Improvisation workshop
Wednesday 3 July 13:00-13:50, Room G04, L22, London Road campus. Colleagues are invited to take part in a series of improvisation workshops. We’ll be playing fun and friendly warm-ups, exercises to explore core improv skills such as listening, making and accepting offers, followed by games, scenes and stories. An evening with astronaut Michael Foale
Wednesday 17 July, 19:30-21:30, 3sixty, RUSU, Whiteknights campus. To mark the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, Pint of Science are hosting Michael Foale, veteran of six space missions and survivor of the worst crash in the history of spaceflight. Early Career Researcher Interdisciplinary grant workshop
Thursday 25 July, 13:00-16:00, Frank Parkinson Room, Agriculture Building, Earley Gate. Early Career Researchers are invited to a half day networking and grant workshop. This will give you the opportunity to meet fellow ECRs from across the university. For more information or to book your place contact Georgina Dodd. Reading Botany Reunion Party
Saturday 27 July, from 13:00, Meadow Suite, Park House, Whiteknights campus. Join us as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of masters’ botany. It will be a happy botanical celebration with a BBQ, cash bar and events such as a specially curated botany spot test. Tickets for the event are just £25.00 per person and include a BBQ and welcome drink. You can register here.
