#MadeAtReading: Keep on learning

All this week we will be exploring the key themes in mental wellbeing, and how colleagues might apply them here on campus.

There’s no better place to keep learning than in one of our museums. There is still the Ure Museum of Greek Archaeology, with its notable collection of Greek and Etruscan ceramics and terracottas, as well as Egyptian antiquities. If at London Road you can visit the Museum of English Rural Life to view the galleries, research the archive or relax in the café. Please note that because of the move to the new Health and Life Sciences building the Cole Museum is currently closed. It’s also worth looking out for temporary exhibitions, especially those from the Department of Typography and Graphic Communication or the University Art Collection.

All colleagues can use the main Library and are able to borrow up to twenty-five books with their campus card (which is also required for access). We also have stunning Special Collections of books and archives at London Road campus with many discovered and undiscovered treasures in the libraries and archives they hold. Some of these are on public display and can be viewed by appointment in the Reading Room.
