Applications invited for LGBT Leadership programme
Wednesday, 24 July 2019
The University is committed to developing an institution where everyone can fulfil their full potential. As part of our investment in developing a diverse leadership, we offer colleagues places on a range of programmes. We shared details of the Aurora programme on Monday (22 July). Today we are talking about the Stonewall Leadership programme.
The University is offering up to 2 sponsored places on the Stonewall LGBT Leadership programme, starting in November 2019. The two-day residential programme brings together senior leaders who identify as LGBT from across a range of sectors and industries.
The programme is CPD-accredited and brings together a group of 36 professionals to:
- reflect on how their identity as an LGBT person has had an impact on their leadership journey
- understand what it means to them to be an authentic and inclusive leader
- explore how to be a more visible and inclusive leader
- expand their professional network of senior LGBT leaders, enabling future collaboration, learning and support
- become part of the Stonewall Alumni Programme to access ongoing opportunities to further their continuing professional development as a leader.
More information about the programme is available on the Stonewall Leadership Programme website.
