Academic Partner and Advisory Group Members for online courses

This is an exciting and dynamic area of activity, which involves collaborations with staff from across the University and prestigious external partners such as The British Council and The Royal Meteorological Society. We are now seeking:
- An Academic Partner (0.3 FTE) to provide academic advice and guidance to ensure that the work of the Online Courses is academically robust and focused. The post-holder will also evaluate impact and assist with dissemination and profile-raising. This role would be suitable as a secondment. Closing date 31 May. - Two academic members of the Online Courses Advisory Group. The Group meets termly and advises on the direction of the University’s programme of online courses. Members will help to identify and provide feedback on new opportunities and ideas, and act as a critical friend with regards to progress and developments. Please email Lisa Davies, Secretary to the Advisory Group by 31 May outlining your interest and experience.
As part of the University’s TEL activities, in collaboration with our academic experts, the Online Courses team in CQSD leads on the design, production and delivery of fully or mainly online courses which reflect our world class teaching and research expertise. These include 29 MOOCs, attracting 800,000 learners from 230 countries across the world. The programme also includes invitation only courses such as Study Smart, our award- winning, pre-entry course for incoming first year students, to welcome and help them prepare for the transition to university study.
