Reminder: Enzo to provide Global Strategy update on 21 May
Friday, 17 May 2019
The University’s Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Global Engagement, Vincenzo Raimo, will be providing an update on the Global Engagement Strategy (GES) next week.
Among the topics he will cover are progress against the GES KPIs, our international partnerships including Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST) and Moscow State University of International Relations (MGIMO) and an update on developments in Malaysia.
The session will take place on Tuesday 21 May from 12.30-13.30 in the Slingo Lecture Theatre in JJ Thomson building.
This is the fifth Global Engagement Strategy session. In 2015, the focus was on assessment of the University’s internationalisation activity and the development of a new Global Engagement Strategy. The following year, Enzo reported on the strategy to 2020 and the related Key Performance Indicators.
The 2017 update focused on the challenge posed to higher education and international mobility of students and staff by the political and economic changes in the world.
Last year’s update focused on the University’s global presence and developments in the transnational education space.
Booking is not required, but places will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
