Communicating with Teams - London Road and Greenlands sessions
Tuesday, 12 November 2019
Thank you to colleagues who attended the 'Communicating with Teams' awareness sessions at Whiteknights campus last week. It was good to see nearly 700 of you, from across the institution, and your questions will inform our approach to providing a voice communications (phone calls and audio/video conferencing) service that suits your needs.
London Road
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have had to move the date of the London Road sessions. The two sessions are now scheduled for:
- Monday 25 November – 09:00-10.00 and 10.00-11.00 (G06, LO22)
If you registered for the session scheduled for 12 November, you will need to re-book yourself on the preferred session.
Greenlands
We also have dates for the Greenlands sessions. These are scheduled for:
- Thursday 14 November – 14:00-15:00 and 15:30-16:30 (National Grid)
To book your place for the London Road or Greenlands sessions, please visit UoR Learn and select your preferred slot (click on the blue chevron and 'Enrol' on a session with available places).
The 'Communicating with Teams' sessions will cover:
- what Microsoft Teams is and how can it help you
- what Teams looks like on your computer
- what equipment you can use for phone calls and online meetings
- how the rollout plan for Communicating with Teams project including:
- who it will affect
- what it will provide
- how it will be done and what happens next
- what help and training will be available
- when it will happen
