Join us as we light up the University’s Christmas Tree in the Palmer Quad.

With music from students and staff across the University and an extended Thursday Food Fair, this is the perfect start to the festive season!

Start your Christmas shopping at the Chaplaincy’s Ethical Christmas Market for fairly traded, locally and ethically-sourced gifts. 


Carol Service

Music at Reading and the Chaplaincy invite you to join the University of Reading for the annual Christmas Carol Service, held in the picturesque Great Hall.

There will be a mixture of seasonal choral pieces by the University Chamber Choir, traditional Christmas carols and readings from members of the University community. Join us for a perfect way to celebrate the start of the Christmas season.
