NTF/CATE scheme expressions of interest - reminder
Monday, 25 November 2019
The Centre for Quality Support and Development would like to remind colleagues that the Expression of Interest schemes for colleagues wishing to be considered as one of the University’s nominees for a National Teaching Fellowship or a Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence in 2020 will remain open until 17:00 on Monday 9 December 2019.
The National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS) and Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE) are prestigious national schemes run by Advance HE. The NTFS celebrates and rewards outstanding individual impact on student outcomes and the teaching profession in higher education, whilst the CATE scheme recognises and rewards collaborative work that has had a demonstrable impact on teaching and learning. The University will select up to three nominees to go forward to the national NTF scheme and one team to go forward to the national CATE scheme this year. Nominees will then receive support from an appropriate mentor in preparing their proposal.
This year, both Professor Yelena Kalyuzhnova (Henley Business School) and Dr Yota Dimitriadi (Institute of Education) were awarded National Teaching Fellowships by Advance HE.
Please visit the NTFS Expressions of Interest webpage and CATE Expressions of Interest webpage for details of the scheme criteria and a link to the application forms.
