Brexit update: Important information for colleagues

It has been confirmed this week that the deadline for the UK to leave the European Union has been extended to 31 January 2020. This is a 'flextension' which means that while the UK has until 31 January 2020 to leave the EU, it could leave earlier if a deal is ratified.
Over the past few months we have been working hard to prepare for Brexit and manage any potential disruption to colleagues and students. This includes keeping an up-to-date FAQs on the Staff Portal, liaising with our Erasmus+ partners to continue to support international mobility, alongside working proactively with our European suppliers to ensure we will have everything we need to continue to run the University.
Our HR team is also supporting colleagues who have questions about the EU Settlement Scheme or who need access to an Android phone to make an application.
