Take some time for you in 'Wellbeing Week'
Monday, 16 September 2019
Be sure to take some time out for Wellbeing Week, running 16 – 20 September on Whiteknights campus.
We kickstart the week with the ‘Get Together’ on Monday 16 September (Meadow Suite, 12:00 - 14:00). Join us for some healthy drinks and snacks, catch up with colleagues and meet the people behind the week’s events. You can see photos from the first Get Together here.
The British Heart Foundation are coming in on Tuesday 17 and Thursday 19 September offering free sessions on “Heart Age Awareness” (booking details below). Hop on the interactive Health Kiosk in the JJ Thompson foyer (for free) and come along to Wellbeing talks on Wednesday 18 September.
Get involved and get rewarded for boosting your own wellbeing and sustainability efforts with JUMP. Earn double points during Wellbeing Week for the chance to win vouchers for you, and for teams the chance to donate £200 to charity.
These are just a few events taking place – you can view our full programme over at the Wellbeing Week webpage.
Here’s a sample of the FREE activities colleagues are putting on:
- Greg Goddard (SportsPark Manager) has arranged for colleagues to experience a Pilates class,
- Katie Whaley (Campus Voices) invites colleagues to experience a small group singing session.
- Alice Dibley (Technical Services) invites you to harvest the crops from their wellbeing garden.
- Stuart Moses (MCE) will be running a fun and entertaining small group ‘improv’ session.
- Miranda Laurence (Arts Officer) will be sharing exciting news about public art at the University.
Book onto the British Heart Foundation sessions here (places will be on a first come, first serve basis).
We look forward to seeing you there!
