December Class of 2020 virtual celebrations

You may remember that in July we marked the achievements of class of 2020 with virtual celebrations hosted on Flipgrid. This was well received by finalists who enjoyed seeing congratulatory videos from staff and alumni. We had approximately 14,000 views on the grids from students and supporters across the three weeks that they were open.
We want to ensure that we celebrate our December finalists in the same way and give them the same opportunity to hear words of support and encouragement from their personal tutors, lecturers and support staff.
To this end, a Flipgrid page has been setup for each school and has been circulated internally to staff. We encourage you and your school colleagues to show your support for the December class of 2020 by posting videos to the relevant grid.
You will find a link to your school's Flipgrid page on the Graduation Essentials Webpage. Your Head of School has the password for the relevant grid. If you need any support on using Flipgrid please do refer to our FAQs page and the Flipgrid Help Centre.
The Flipgrid pages will be open to finalists and their supporters from Wednesday 9 December to Monday 21 December 2020. Please do post your own video at any point during this period.
You can also get involved on social media by using #uorclassof2020 to share your messages of celebration and support.
Whilst it is a shame we cannot be together to congratulate finalists in person, this will provide us with a positive, celebratory and social environment for our school staff, students and supporters.
