Our University Running Group meet three times each week.

Being active is beneficial for mental wellbeing, if going to the gym isn’t for you, you can enjoy a walk around our award-winning campus. Taking time out for a walk to enjoy our beautiful surroundings also helps us all be a little more mindful, another key wellbeing theme. To help with this we’ve produced a Wellbeing Map of Whiteknights campus.

RUSU has also recently published three separate running routes around Whiteknights campus. These routes were designed for everyone, no matter your running ability. You can start with Route One and build up your stamina. And routes can be combined for longer distances.

The University Running Group is open to runners of all abilities, meeting three times each week for runs around campus.  Runs typically take place every Tuesday lunchtime, Tuesday evening, and Thursday lunchtime. It is completely free to join – simply turn up in your running gear and get moving! Join the group on Teams to find out more.

It's important to stay hydrated whilst you exercise. We have water stations across our campus. Make sure you're aware of your nearest station using our hydration map.
