Survey: Leadership and Diversity in Higher Education

Monday, 08 June 2020

Person on computer

Colleagues in academic posts (Teaching Intensive, Teaching and Research, Research) are invited to take part in a short online survey on the gender and black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) balance in professorial, senior grade roles and university committees.

The survey is part of a research project to help support University of Reading goals and targets on equality and has been supported by the University's Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives Fund. The project is led by Dr Karen Jones, Institute of Education.

The survey will collect data to help us understand what helps academic colleagues move forward in their careers, especially towards leadership, professorial and senior grade roles, as well as important milestones and barriers experienced along the way to progression.

Responses are anonymous, and the survey should take no more than 16 minutes to complete. The closing date is 14 June 2020.

If you would like more information, please contact Dr Karen Jones.
