Edith Morley Lecture: Women in Sport - Overcoming and Succeeding
Thursday 5 March, 19:00
Henley Business School, Whiteknights campus
Every year, we hold a special lecture in honour of Edith Morley, believed to be the first woman awarded the title of professor in a British university.
This year, we turn our attention to women in sport. Although the number of female athletes is rising significantly, women's sports are highly underrepresented in the media, and female athletes earn considerably less than their male counterparts.
Please join us for an exciting panel discussion hosted by athletes Fara Williams, Kelly Chambers, Cath Bishop and our own Reading student, Alice Kirkup.
Admission is free, and places can be booked online.
