Funding opportunity

Following the successful launch of the University of Reading/ Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust (RBFT)Collaborative Innovation Fund in October 2018, our Joint Academic Board is pleased to announce a fourth call for proposals.

We welcome proposals for new initiatives, with this round focussing especially on teaching, learning, training and knowledge exchange, although research applications will also be considered.

As in previous rounds, we will particularly welcome applications from new teams and collaborations, and those not holding funding from previous rounds.

Projects must demonstrate existing or potential collaboration between the RBFT and the University, and we will help applicants to find collaborators where needed. The scheme is open to all colleagues across any grade or area in both RBFT and the University. Applications with a maximum duration of 12 months and to a value of £60,000 will be considered. For reference, the first three rounds have made 25 awards with an average value of £19,900.

The closing date for applications is 20 March 2020, with funding to be released from June 2020.

Further details and the application form can be requested from JAB@reading.ac.uk. Please also send any queries regarding eligibility to this address.
