Tuesday, 24 March 2020

This is a strange and uncertain time for us all, and community support is incredibly important – whatever form it may take. We hope the networks will help you connect with fellow colleagues from across the University. So grab yourself a cup of coffee, make yourself comfortable, and join in!

Staff Disability Network

Our Staff Disability Network will explore the theme of 'Opportunities and Challenges around disclosure in academia' in their spring coffee morning.

Please join us from 11:00 on Tuesday 24 March. To take part, join via BlackBoard(using Google Chrome), or dial in using this number: +442033189610 and PIN: 263 878 6509.

The discussion will be led by Institute of Education colleague Ilan Dwek and special guests from Hidden Disabilities, the charity responsible for the sunflower lanyard that's gaining national popularity.

Colleagues can join or leave any time during the meeting, but to help give us an idea of numbers, please register using this form.

Parent and Family Network

We’re very sorry to say that the Parent and Family Network coffee morning has had to be cancelled. You can still join the network for ideas about keeping children entertained/educated and how to balance childcare with home working.
