Annual leave: reminder of revised arrangements

Friday, 02 October 2020

University shield

October marks the beginning of the University's 2020-21 annual leave year.

Annual leave arrangements have been revised for this year – a maximum of 10 days leave, or the equivalent of 2 working weeks if working part time, will be carried into this leave year, with the flexibility to use these across the whole of the 2020/21 annual leave year.

Our HR colleagues will now begin updating the holiday allowances displayed in Employee Self Service. This is not an automatic process, not least because of the revised carry forward arrangements, and the work involved could only begin at the start of this month.

Please be mindful that it will take a little time to action, and so there may be a delay before your holiday allowance has been fully updated for the 2020-21 annual leave year.
